(970) 920-9400. As "your pet's pet,” we thought you might like a few suggestions for use.

1. To use the heart beat, first remove the white tab from heart and discard, then simply switch it on. The batteries are long life, however we suggest turning off the heart beat when not in use. Replace the batteries with a quality brand when necessary, using 2 of style 357 or 3 of style 389 calculator or watch batteries. Place the heart beat in the underside pocket.

2. There are two types of heat sources: One is disposable and one is renewable. Both heat sources are safe and will not cause harm if ingested by your pet. Your SnugglePuppie™ or SnuggleKittie™ comes with two disposable heaters that last up to 20 hours when exposed to air. To activate, open one pouch and let it stand for 10 minutes. Open the underside pocket and insert. If you do not need to use the heater for the entire 20 hours, simply put it in a zip reclosable plastic bag to eliminate the air activation. Throw away when finished. If your retailer does not carry extra disposable heaters, please call us at (800) 463-4107 or (970) 920-9400 for purchasing assistance. Do not put the disposable heat pack in the microwave.

The other type of recommended heat is dry rice. We have enclosed a terry cloth pouch for your convenience. Take 1/2 cup of dry white rice and place inside the terry cloth bag, place in the microwave. Because heating in microwaves varies try warming the rice for one (1) minute. Do not boil or bake the rice. Rice heat is moister than the disposable heat and lasts up to three hours. Be careful to not overheat the rice, a "burnt" smell is unpleasant to animals. Exercise caution when handling either heat source–they do get hot.

3. While testing the SnugglePuppie™, we found that placing a worn, human scented sock inside the pocket reassures your pet. This worked particularly well when animals needed to be transported to unfamiliar places–like the kennel or vet.

4. The SnugglePuppie™ or SnuggleKittie™ is machine washable in warm water, gentle cycle, no harsh detergents. Please air dry. Be sure to empty the underside pocket of all contents before washing.

5. Our products are designed like our slogan: "Soul Satisfying Products for Your Pet." If you have any other suggestions please call us–we'd like to hear from you. It has come to our attention that the SnugglePuppie™ and SnuggleKittie™ would be great for other types of pets and even people too. We hope that you will use proper discretion if you use them for small children or large snakes.

Special Baby Bottle Feature
Our SnugglePuppie™ and SnuggleKittie™ can now help baby animals feed themselves. Simply insert a small bottle in the underside pocket. The nipple will stick out between the legs of the SnugglePuppie™ or SnuggleKittie™. Use the Velcro® tab to hold bottle in place. For best results, watch the animal while feeding. We recommend not leaving formula in the bottle longer than manufacturer's guidelines. Need help? Disposable Heater Directions
Open package and expose heater to air. No kneading or shaking required. Place heater in the underside pocket. Each heater lasts up to 20 hours. If you do not need to use the heater for the entire 20 hours, simply put it in a zip reclosable plastic bag to eliminate the air activation. Contents are environmentally safe, nontoxic and disposable with normal trash. Do not put the disposable heat pack in the microwave.

CAUTION: Heaters are for external use only! Do not place warmer directly on skin, heat may cause burns. Warmer won't be effective if wet. Do not open inner pack. If inner pack contents come in contact with skin, mouth or eyes, flush instantly with cold water.
